DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a
visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath,
past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence
and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in
Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra ( by road )Morning
after breakfast drive to Agra. Arrive Agra check-in hotel. Later proceed for
city sightseeing tour of Agra. Visiting the world famous Taj Mahal *, built
by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to
enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit Agra Fort, containing the Pearl
Mosque - the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the
banks of the river Yamuna and Emperor Akbar started the construction in
1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions
with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his
gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of
friendly kingdoms. Night stay in Agra.
Day 04 : Agra
- Bharatpur ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to Bharatpur.
Arrive Bharatpur & check-in at hotel. Later visit Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary ** on rickshaws. The most Spectacular water- bird Sanctuary
features nesting indigenous water- birds and migratory birds. From October
till December, the indigenous water- birds nest around the lake, from
December on the migratory Geese, Duck and Cranes are the main feature of the
bird sanctuary. Night stay in Bharatpur .
Day 05 :
Bharatpur - Karauli ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Karauli. Arrive Karauli & check-in at hotel. Afternoon proceed for city
sightseeing tour of Karauli. A quaint township founded in 1348. You can
experience a serene rural environment here apart from the City Palace and
Kaila Devi Temple. Night stay in Karauli.
Day 06 :
Karauli - Pachewar ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Pachewar. Arrive Pachewar & check-in at hotel. Later explore Pachewar. A
small village located at a drive of just 25 minutes from Dudu, south to the
city of Jaipur on the Jaipur Ajmer highway, Pachewar is famous for
cenotaphs, blue pottery kiln, metal toy makers and interesting surroundings.
It is a lively place that was once ruled by Khangarot Rajputs, a sub clan of
Kachhawaha Rajputs. Night stay in Pachewar.
Day 07 :
Pachewar - Deogarh ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Deogarh. Arrive Deogarh & check in at hotel. The Deogarh Castle is
located on a hillock and is encircled by the town. it was built in 1670 by
Rawat Dwarkadas Ji of the Chundawat clan of the Siaodia Dynasty. Constructed
by the famed Sompura architects, well-known for their additions and
alterations were carried out according to the needs of the residents. There
are five floors and over 200 rooms have murals done by local painters after
whom Deogarh school of painting has acquired fame the world over. The family
has a large collection of Deogarh miniatures. Night stay in Deogarh.

08 : Deogarh - Narlai ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Narlai. Arrive Narlai & check in hotel. Afternoon visit the Narlai.
Legend says that it was here that the sage Narad Muni meditated long before
it was inhabited. Later it became a hunting preserve for the Sisodias. Night
stay in Narlai.
Day 09 : Narlai - Luni ( by road )Morning
after breakfast drive to Luni. Arrive Luni & check in at hotel. Later
explore Luni, the small village is home to many artisans who work with
metal, clay or wood, keeping alive the skills passed down over the centuries
by their ancestor. The noise and bustle of the village settles down by
evening and all is quite as peace descends on the desert. The fort with its
huge gates and protective walls stands proud and strong under the
spectacular company of stars. Night stay at Luni.

10 : Luni - Jaisalmer ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer & check-in hotel. Evening enjoy camel ride

of Jaisalmer visiting the burnished sandstone Jaisalmer, Throbbing in the
heart of the Thar, is an intricately molded wonderland in place of a barren
land, today stands a city of gilded magic. The origins of Jaisalmer go back
to the 12th century, when Rawal Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Ludarwa and
laid the foundation of a new city. Visit the magnificent fort, the Patwon Ki
Haveli (Mansion) and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and
brackets, which are supreme examples of the art. Night stay in Jaisalmer.

12 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive
to Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner & check-in hotel. Afternoon proceed for city
sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bika Ji
in 1488. But long before this, the city was trade center on the caravan
routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner's dominant features are rippling
sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a
7 Kms wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by
imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and
mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh the fort is distinguished by its long
range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying
designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, and Bhanda Sagar Jain and

13 : Bikaner - Kuchaman ( by road )Morning after breakfast drive to
Kuchaman. Arrive Kuchaman & check in hotel. Located in Nagaur District,
Kuchaman Fort has had a strategic role to play in Rajasthan's history which
unravels as one moves around its 17th century battlements. Its picturesque
village is idyllic for those who would like to discover the charm of walking

CITY PALACE - A delightful blend
of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls
over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra
Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR
MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five
observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This
observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA
MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a
prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone
plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The
palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal
was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay in Jaipur.

AMBER FORT PALACE
- Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction
was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai
Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful
fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.
JAIGARH
FORT - The Western skyline is dominated by the extensive parkotas
(Walls), watch-towers and gateways of Jaigarh. It is one of the few military
structures of medieval India preserved almost intact containing palaces,
gardens, open and covered reservoirs, a grannary, an armoury, a well planned
cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and a giant mounted cannon the
Jai Ban the largest in the Country.
LAXMI NARAYAN
TEMPLE - Situated in the south of Jaipur, Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of
the many such temples built by wealthy Birla family in India, thus it is
also known as Birla Mandir. The temple is a great reminder of the secular
traditions India has shown over the centuries. The temple has been
constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying the
different approaches to religion. The temple is situated at the foot of Moti
Doongri Fort, converted as a small palace by Ram Singh II for his wife
Gayatri Devi. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 17 : Jaipur -
Delhi & DepartureMorning after breakfast drive to Delhi. Upon
arrival departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward
journey.
